PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power storage device that can suppress short-circuit in an electrode assembly due to a valve piece when a pressure release valve cleaves.SOLUTION: In a secondary battery 10, a first holding tape 45 is adhesively attached to a portion of a tab-side end face 36 which is sandwiched between a positive tab group 33 and a negative tab group 34. The distance K1 between the inner surface 33a of the positive tab group 33 and the positive electrode side edge 45a of the first holding tap 45 which face each other in the width direction of the electrode assembly 14 on the tab-side end surface 36, and the distance K2 between the inner surface 34a of the negative electrode tab group 34 and the negative electrode side edge 45b of the first holding tape 45 are set to be shorter than the minimum lengths N1, N2 of a first valve piece 19 and a second valve piece 20 which are fragmented due to cleavage of a pressure release valve 15.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5 |
