[Problem] The purpose of the present invention is to enhance sound insulation without an increase in weight and without degradation in handling and processability. [Solution] This rubber contains 5 to 45 parts by mass of non-cross-linked EPM with respect to 100 parts by mass of cross-linked EPDM, and oil having the same or more mass by parts than the EPM. The oil is preferably a hydrocarbon-based oil having a weight-average molecular weight of 1500 or less. The mass ratio of the oil with respect to EPM is preferably 1 to 10. The rubber furthermore preferably contains 0.5 to 8 parts by mass of stearic acid. A weather strip 1 and hose 2 are composed of the rubber.
