PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a streaming data distribution system for quickly switching a distribution source server without damaging the continuity of a service.SOLUTION: A request reception server which has received a distribution request from a client terminal 6 among a plurality of distribution servers 5 creates distribution destination information related to a distribution destination in response to the distribution request, and holds the distribution destination information with the other distribution servers. Each distribution server is configured to manage whether or not the attribute of each piece of distribution destination information is an original for each piece of the distribution destination information held by itself. The distribution server functions as a distribution source server for performing the distribution of collection data to the client terminal corresponding to the distribution destination information whose attribute is the original, and also functions as a backup server for holding the distribution destination information for backup, and for stopping the distribution of the collection data to the client terminal corresponding to the distribution destination information whose attribute is not the original.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
