The pipette (1) has a retainer formed with an aperture and arranged at a lower end of a bar housing (2) for inserting a syringe (3) with a mounting portion at an upper edge of a cylinder. A moving unit moves a receiving body within the housing in a longitudinal direction of the housing. A lift lever (5) is actuated at an outer side of the housing and connected with the receiving body through a connector. The connector comprises a channel that is extended by a cover strip, where the housing and the cover strip are made of plastic material.
