PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle for high lift work which can prevent the self-weight falling of a work table.SOLUTION: A vehicle for high lift work has an elevation mast which is driven by an elevation motor to move a work table up and down, and comprises first and second holding brakes which stop and hold the work table, an elevation motor rotation detector, and a controller which performs operation control of the elevation motor and the first and second holding brakes and determines whether or not the first and second holding brakes have predetermined braking ability. The controller performs steps S62, S63 of performing control for operating the first holding brake and stopping drive by the elevation motor, and then performs a step S65 or S68 of operating the second holding brake. The controller determines whether or not the first holding brake has predetermined braking ability on the basis of detection results detected by the elevation motor rotation detector, before performing the step S65 or S68 after the step S63. |
