An automatic two-wheeled vehicle (1) has an engine (45) as a drive source, and includes: a main switch (40) for energizing the electrical system; a brake operation unit (39) that is operated by the rider's hands and receives braking operations for braking and release operations for releasing the braking of the automatic two-wheeled vehicle (1); a brake switch unit (62) that detects the operation of the brake operation unit (39); and an engine control unit (70) that, when the main switch (40) is conducting electricity and energizing the electrical system and the engine (45) is stopped, starts the engine (45) in response to the changing of the brake switch unit (62) to a state wherein a braking operation is detected. |
