PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing, by a down draw process, a glass plate having little warp quantity and little thickness unevenness.SOLUTION: A method includes a forming step of forming a molten glass 12 into a glass ribbon 13 by a down draw process, a slow cooling step of making the glass ribbon 13 pass through a slow cooling furnace 20 to slowly cool the glass ribbon 13, and a cutting step of cutting the glass ribbon 13 to obtain a glass plate 25. When a flow passage area of the slow cooling furnace 20 is represented by S (m) and a height of the slow cooling furnace 20 is represented by h (m), 5 m≤h<15 m is satisfied, and S×his 5.8 mor less. |
