PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress fuel procurement cost and stably obtain energy using forest resource while suppressing expense for capital investment.SOLUTION: A combustion device includes a combustion furnace 1 specially provided for combusting log fuel and a carrying-in mechanism 2 for carrying the log fuel into the combustion furnace 1 to supply a combustion gas generated from the combustion furnace 1 to a boiler 4 and the like. The log fuel comprises wood material that is not subjected to dry processing. The carrying-in mechanism 2 carries the log fuel intermittently while having a predetermined intervals.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
