PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To attain divergence in a symbol variable presentation using symbol display bodies.SOLUTION: A drum type symbol display device H includes: three first symbol display units 100 having first symbol drums 107; and a second symbol display unit 101 having a second symbol drum 147. A first shutter body 181 and a second shutter body 182 capable of covering one or more symbols 114A displayed on the first symbol drums 107 are arranged on the outside of the outer peripheries of the first symbol drums 107 of the respective symbol display units 100 so as to be movable along the outer peripheries of the respective first symbol drums 107. The respective shutter bodies 181, 182 are moved when a symbol variable presentation by the first symbol drums 107 and the second symbol drum 147 is performed, to thereby change the number of symbol displays in the respective first symbol drums 107. |
