A threading device of a sheet material enables a thread to penetrate the sheet material stably even the diameter of a needle is not thickened. The threading device of the sheet material is equipped with a thread supplying mechanism (11) for supplying threads (9) used in a marking step after a cutting step, a thread penetrating needle (13) and a pre-boring needle (15). Because the pre-boring operation by the pre-boring needle is carried out ahead of piercing in and plugging out the thread penetrating needle, even the diameter of the penetrating needle is not thickened, the thread penetrating needle can be pierced in and plugged out from the sheet material. If the pre-boring operation is not needed, the diameter of the needle does not need to be thickened by piercing and plugging the thread penetrating needle in and out the sheet material (7). If the diameter of the thread penetrating needle is not oversized relative to the thread, the thread can retain in the hole of the sheet material (7) with an appropriate resistance and in a manner of being difficult to fall off after the thread penetrating needle (13) is plugged out. |
