A portable blower is provided with: a casing (20); an intake port (21) provided in the front face of the casing (20) in order to take in external air; a blowing port (22) provided in the upper face of the casing (20) in order to blow external air taken in from the intake port (21) out of the casing (20); a rotary element (30) which is provided inside the casing (20) and comprises a plurality of blades (31) that rotate in order to take in external air from the intake port (21) and deliver external air from the blowing port (22) to outside the casing (20); and a strap (60) which is attached to the casing (20). A cover (10) for covering the intake port (21) is provided opposite the intake port (21). A gap (G) is provided between the casing (20) and the cover (10), and external air is taken into the casing (20) from the intake port (21) through this gap (G). |
