PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gel-like oil-in-water emulsion cosmetic which has good storage stability (gelling or drainage is not caused), is excellent in an ultraviolet ray protection effect, and has an aqueous gel-like fresh feeling of use while blending ascorbic acid glucoside to be a bleaching agent and particulate zinc oxide.SOLUTION: An oil-in-water type emulsion cosmetic which blends one, or two or more selected from (a) carrageenan, (b) fine particulate zinc oxide, (c) ascorbic acid glucoside and (d) compounds generating univalent and/or multivalent metallic cations in an aqueous solution. |
