PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cutting device that can form an opening for removing an infilling material by cutting an upper cover of a caisson at low cost even when the upper cover is thick.SOLUTION: A cutting device 1 includes: a core drill which forms through holes 6 to be used as a throw-in hole 6a and a recovery hole 6b in an upper cover 4; a floating body 8 which is connected to a lead wire 7 for guiding a wire used in wire sawing and thrown in through the throw-in hole 6a of the upper cover 4 to be arranged on a water surface below the upper cover 4; and a suction pipe 12 which moves the floating body 8 from the water surface below the throw-in hole 6a to a water surface below the recovery hole 6b with suction hydrodynamic force 15 so as to recover the floating body 8 to the outside. Consequently, the wire for wire sawing can be wound between the throw-in hole 6a and the recovery hole 6b of the upper cover 4, so that an opening 5 for removing an infilling material 3 can be formed in the upper cover 4 at low cost. |
