PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of forming a self-fluxing alloy film such that a fusion film of self-fluxing alloy which has a film thickness of 3 mm or larger and is joined to a metal base with high joining force can be efficiently formed on an outer peripheral surface of the metal base.SOLUTION: A method of forming a self-fluxing alloy film includes: a first process of forming a spray coating film of self-fluxing alloy with a thickness of 50-200 μm on an outer peripheral surface of a metal base 1 and coating the spray coating film with flux; and a second process of forming a fusion film 5 of the self-fluxing alloy by mounting a cylindrical outer frame body 2 made of a nonmagnetic material at a periphery of the metal base 1 such that an inner peripheral surface thereof is apart from the spray coating film formed on the outer peripheral surface of the metal base 1, charging powder 3 of self-fluxing alloy in a space surrounded with the spray coating film formed on the outer peripheral surface of the metal base 1 and an inner peripheral surface of the cylindrical outer frame body 2, heating the metal base 1 by induction heating means 4 arranged outside the cylindrical outer frame body 2, and heating and fusing the powder 3 of the self-fluxing alloy through heat conduction from the metal base 1. |
