PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a refrigerator which exerts improved user friendliness and safety when opening a plurality of doors.SOLUTION: The refrigerator includes: a first storage chamber 2 having a first door 2a and a second door 2b; second storage chambers 3, 4 adjacent to the first storage chamber 2a; third doors 3a, 4a opening/closing the second storage chambers 3, 4; a door-opening device opening the first door 2a and the second door 2b; detection means 48a, 48b detecting driving instruction to the door-opening device; and door-opening/closing detection means detecting opening/closing state of the third doors 3a, 4a. When the driving instruction for serially opening the first door 2a and the second door 2b is detected by the detection means 48a, 48b, opening operation of one of the first door 2a and the second door 2b is stopped when the third doors 3a, 4a are opened during the opening operation of the other of the first door 2a and the second door 2b. |
