PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a gas circuit breaker which enables core alignment of a fixed contact while inhibiting the occurence of metallic foreign matters.SOLUTION: A gas circuit breaker 50 comprises: a container 30 in which an insulation gas is enclosed; a fixed contact provided in the container 30; a movable contact which is movably formed so as to come in contact with and separate from the fixed contact in the container 30; a support insulator 4 which is fixed to the fixed contact; a boss for fixation 3 where a through hole 3a is formed, the boss for the fixation 3 being provided on an inner surface of the container 3; and a screw member 5 provided with a screw part 5a, in which an outer screw is formed, the screw member 5 which penetrates through the through hole 3a. A position of the fixed contact is fixed in the container 3 by fixing the support insulator 4 to the boss for the fixation 3 by the screw member 5. The gas circuit breaker 50 further includes a contact restrict part 7 which restricts contact between the outer screw formed at the screw member 5 and an inner surface of the through hole 3a. |
