PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a traffic line analysis system and a traffic line analysis method that appropriately protect the privacy of a person photographed in an imaging area, and generate an accurate traffic line analysis image in which stay information or passage information on the person is superposed on a background image updated at prescribed timing.SOLUTION: A camera device 100 comprises: a background image generation unit 30 for repetitively generating a background image of a photographic image of an imaging area; a traffic line information analysis unit 40 for extracting traffic line information on a mobile object included in the photographic image; and a transmission unit 60 for transmitting the background image and the traffic line information on the mobile object per prescribed transmission cycle to a server device 300. The server device comprises: a display image generation unit 350 for generating a traffic line analysis image in which the traffic line information on the mobile object is superposed on the background image of the photographic image; and a display control unit for having a display unit display the traffic line analysis image. If timing change operation is performed, the display control unit switches from a first traffic line analysis image generated at first timing to a second traffic line analysis image generated at second timing, and has the display unit display the latter.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
