PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical scanning object detection device that can secure sufficient object detection performance by restricting dew condensation at a window although its structure is simple.SOLUTION: An optical scanning object detection device includes: a light projection system LPS for emitting a beam; a mirror unit MU comprising mirror surfaces M1 and M2 that rotate around a rotation axis; a light reception system RPS for receiving the beam; and a case CS which is provided with a transparent plate TR as a window and contains the light projection system, the mirror unit, and the light reception unit. The beam emitted by the light projection system is reflected by the rotating mirror surfaces, and projected as scanning projection light to the outside of the case via the window. A part of beam reflected by an object among the beam of scanning projection light is reflected by the mirror surfaces inside the case via the window, and then received by the light reception system. A dew drop induction unit having thermal resistance smaller than that of the window is placed at a portion other than the window which is a transparent plate, thereby dew condensation at the dew condensation induction unit in contact with the inside and outside of the case is accelerated and dew condensation at the window is prevented.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3 |
