PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it possible to confirm suitable clamping/unclamping of a tool with a compact configuration.SOLUTION: A tool gripping device comprises: a drive mechanism which includes a drive motor and a movable member which is provided on a drive path between a grip part for gripping a tool and the drive motor, and opens/closes the grip part; a regulation member which regulates a moving range of the movable member corresponding to opened/closed positions of the grip part; and determination means which determines that opening/closing of the grip part is completed.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
