This medical manipulator system is provided with the following: a treatment tool (15) that has joint elements (19); an encoder (26) that detects the postures of the joint elements (19); an operation input device (3) that has joints (6) which are associated with the joint elements (19) for the purpose of operating the joint elements (19); encoders (7) that detect the postures of the joints (6); a controller (30) that controls the treatment tool (15) and the operation input device (3) on the basis of the postures of the joint elements (19) detected by the encoder (26) and the postures of the joints (6) detected by the encoders (7); and a display unit (8) that displays information which is under the control of the controller (30). As such information, the controller (30) outputs the postures of the joint elements (19) and the postures of the joints (6) to the display unit (8). |
