PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical power monitoring device and optical communication network system that are capable of measuring optical power of each wavelength without changing a device/module configuration, even when the wavelength has been changed.SOLUTION: A V-OLT (video system station device) 20, which is an optical power monitoring device for monitoring optical power of each wavelength when light having a plurality of wavelengths is transmitted, comprises: an optical fiber 40 including a core and a clad; grating boards 22-1, 22-2 on which a plurality of types of periodic protrusion patterns are formed; a driving unit 23 that makes a grating board 22 move to a position at which protrusion patterns have a desired period and pushes the protrusion patterns against the optical fiber 40 at the position; and light receiving units 26-1, 26-2 for receiving clad mode light having leaked out from the optical fiber 40.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6 |
