PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely suppress belt meander for a long term, even in a belt conveyor in which an automatic alignment mechanism cannot be provided on a driven roller.SOLUTION: A drive roller 5 is configured so that: a spherical part 10a formed on a center of a shaft 10 is connected to a spherical bearing 12 on a roller trunk 11 side so as not to freely rotate relatively, thereby the roller trunk 11 is supported to the shaft 10 so as to swing freely. To a surface of the roller trunk 11, a first layer 15 having maximum thickness on a center thereof and minimum thickness on both end parts thereof is adhered, and to a surface of the first layer, a second layer 16 having minimum thickness on a center thereof and maximum thickness on both end parts thereof, and having an elastic modulus for unit thickness, smaller than that of the first layer 15 is laminated. On any of cross sections crossing to an axial direction of the roller trunk 11, total sum of thickness of the first layer 15 and the second layer 16 is constant, and a third layer 17 formed of a synthetic resin having wear resistance and having constant thickness, is laminated on a surface of the second layer.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 |
