A heat exchange-type ventilation device comprising: a main body having an air-supply path and an exhaust path formed therein; an air-supply ventilator provided inside the air-supply path; an exhaust ventilator provided inside the exhaust path; and a heat exchanger (2) that causes heat to be exchanged between air flowing along the air-supply path and air flowing along the exhaust path. The heat exchanger (2) has: heat-exchange elements (21) having a plurality of sheet-shaped, polygon partitioning members laminated therein having a gap therebetween; and framing material (22) covering the sides of the heat-exchange elements (21) that extend along the lamination direction of the partitioning members. The framing material (22) has outside protrusions (52) formed therein that extend along the lamination direction, on an opposite surface to a surface facing the heat-exchange elements (21).
