PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air conditioner with an incorporated silencer that absorbs and eliminates suction sound upstream from a fan such that the silencer can be easily incorporated in a frame of the air conditioner, inspection and maintenance such as interior cleaning in the air conditioner and coil washing are easy, and the silencer is incorporated which generates low noise even when air capacity is large.SOLUTION: In an air conditioner with a filter, a heat exchanging coil, a silencer, and a blower fan arranged in order from an upstream side to a downstream side of a flow of air, the silencer is incorporated that has a sound absorber of polyester nonwoven fabric formed cylindrically surrounding a ventilation passage, can be divided into an upper and a lower part, and stands by itself covering an outer periphery of the sound absorber with an outer peripheral punching plate provided with many through-holes. |
