A cartridge 160 for use with a humidification apparatus, comprises one or more sensors 130 and a corresponding biasing means for coupling the one or more sensors 130 to the cartridge 160. The biasing means may be a spring. The cartridge 160 may connect to a humidification unit having an inlet and an outlet, each having a port 60 into which the sensors 130 may be introduced. The port 60 may have a flexible membrane against which the biasing means urges the sensor 130.
