A steering column (1) comprises a column (2), a first portion (5) with a first axis (X1), and a second portion (6) with a second axis (X2), connected adjustably to the first portion (5) to rotate about an axis (X3) transverse to the other axes (X1, X2); a shaft (3) rotatable inside column (2); a steering wheel (4) coupled to shaft (3); and a control assembly (G) for adjusting the position of the steering wheel (4) relative to the steering column; assembly (G) comprises connecting means (C) between the first (5) and second (6) portion, mounted sliding on the first portion (5), and envisages a toothed sector (11) formed on the connecting means (C), a slider (12) sliding parallel to the first axis (X1) and provided with an end (17) that couples to sector (11), and means (20, 18) for moving the slider (12) between a position (A) of engagement with sector (11), and a position (B) of disengagement. |
