PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To assemble a piston and a valve guide easily with simple structure at a low production cost and also prevent a cup seal from being turned over. SOLUTION: Engaging grooves 10 and 25 are arranged on the external peripheral face of the tip shaft section 4a of the piston 4 and on the internal peripheral of the large diameter cylindrical section 11a of the valve guide 11. A ring- shaped connection member 12 is interposed between the tip side external peripheral face of the piston 4 and the cylindrical section of the valve guide 11. A plurality of internal jaws 12d and external jaws 12e are provided alternatively on the connection member 12. The internal jaws 12d and the external jaws 12e are engaged in the engaging grooves 10 and 25 to connect the piston 4 and the valve guide 11 to the connection member 12.
