PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a highly reliable bacteriological testing method that provides rapid results.SOLUTION: A testing method includes a step (a) for culturing bacteria present in a sample in a nonselective medium, a step (b) for diluting a culture solution obtained in step (a) and mixing it with a liquid-selective medium for bacteria to be tested, and selectively culturing the bacteria to be tested, a step (c) for measuring using oxygen electrode method the amount of dissolved oxygen in the culture solution being cultured in step (b), and a step (d) for determining whether or not the bacteria to be tested are present in the sample according to the measurement results obtained in step (c). |
