PURPOSE:To prevent putrefaction and offensive odor of water by reducing the chance that water is exposed to the in a water supply passage. CONSTITUTION:The icemaker comprises a water supply tank 7, a pump, an icemaking tray 2, and a tube 9 for coupling them. The tank 7 and the pump are fixed to a frame 8 in a cold storage chamber. The tank 7 is removable from the frame 8. The tank 7 has a tank body 15 and a cover 16. The cover 16 is removable from the body 15. The pump is a gear pump, and mounted integrally with the frame 8. |
