PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a scanning type image display device that has reduced image distortion caused by two-dimensional repetitive deflection drive of an optical reflection surface.SOLUTION: A light beam scanner includes a light source and a predetermined optical reflection surface that performs repetitive deflection drive in two directions that are substantially orthogonal to each other, and includes a function to deflect and scan a light beam emitted from the light source and reflected on the optical reflection surface in a first scanning direction and a second scanning direction substantially orthogonal to the first scanning direction. In a light path of the light beam reflected on the optical reflection surface, an optical prism is arranged, which is formed of transparent optical glass or plastic for an optical component having a predetermined refractive index and has a wedged shape or a trapezoid shape including a predetermined apex angle.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
