An electronic control unit (ECU) (5) performs feedback control on an electric motor (6) so that compensation current having a corrected target value flows through the motor. The target current value is corrected based on the determined compensation current instruction value used to suppress torque ripples due to distortion of an induced electromotive force waveform of the motor.
