PURPOSE: To make color of a sintered compact black and uniform with a small quantity to be added without damaging the original characteristics of the aluminum nitride sintered compact. CONSTITUTION: The sintered compact contains 0.05-5wt.% of compound (expressed in terms of single metallic form), of at least one kind transition metal element selected from the group consisting of groups IVa, Va, VIa, VIIa, VIII in periodic table as a coloring component. The aluminum nitride powder is synthesized with a direct nitriding method. |
