PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus allowing the reduction of the size of the apparatus, and easily coping with various imaging target regions.SOLUTION: An X-ray imaging apparatus includes: a turn arm 5 having an X-ray irradiation part and an X-ray detection part disposed to the head of a subject oppositely to each other; a holding frame 4 holding the turn arm; an elevating body 3 supporting the holding frame 4; and a strut 2 vertically movably supporting the elevating body 3. The elevating body 3 has a beam generation device 100 emitting a beam to the head of the subject. The beam generation device includes: a base installed to the elevating body; a first beam irradiation part 111 fixed to a reference position of the base; and a second beam irradiation part 112 provided in the base vertically movably to the first beam irradiation part 111. The beam irradiation part 112 is moved to a prescribed position, and irradiates position beams corresponding to a plurality of imaging regions. |
