PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To attain revocalization at need in an inadequate state for a called subscriber by performing a process from a revocalization request when revocalization is selected, and paging a compressed speech message when transmission is selected. SOLUTION: A caller is connected to a trunk line interface 4 first through a public telephone line 2. Then the trunk line interface 4 informs the caller of an announcement requiring a speech message, accepts the input of the speech message from the caller, and outputs the speech message from the caller to a compressing means 8. The compressing means 8 compresses and outputs the speech message to an expanding means 11. The expanding means 11 outputs the expanded speech message to a confirmation output means 12. When the caller selects paging, the compressing means 8 sends the compressed speech signal to the pager of the called subscriber which is previously registered through plural paging nodes 9. |
