<p>PURPOSE: To provide a pug mill which does not allow aqueous vapor to leak out from a dust intake. CONSTITUTION: In a pug mill which adds a water content to dust collected from a blast furnace or the like for kneading, a gas ejection means 19 is installed to a dust intake 17 and inactive gas is ejected from the gas election means, thereby forming an air curtain. With this air curtain, it is so arranged that no aqueous vapor may leak out from the dust intake 17, thereby protecting a gas seal valve from being troubled by the leakage of aqueous vapor.</p> |
