PURPOSE: To obtain a high-voltage sensor which detects the high voltage of a signal pin when an input voltage is higher than the sum of a reference voltage and threshold voltages of two P channels and the sum of a power supply voltage Vcc and the threshold voltage of a P channel by generating a high-voltage signal. CONSTITUTION: A column decoder 19 functions so as to supply a prescribed positive voltage Vsen18 to a selected drain column line 18 and a low voltage (0V) to a source line 17. The decoder 19 also functions to connect the selected drain column line 18 of a selected cell 10 to a data input/output terminal in response to a signal on an address line 20d. A sense amplifier connected to a data input/output terminal 22 detects whether the cell 10 having the drain column line 18 connected to the selected work line 15 is in a conducting state or nonconducting state.
