摘要 Provided are: a nonaqueous secondary battery having excellent charge and discharge characteristics with a large current; and a method for manufacturing this nonaqueous secondary battery. A nonaqueous secondary battery according to the present invention is characterized by being provided with: a positive electrode that has a positive electrode mixture layer, which contains a positive electrode active material, a binder and a conductive assistant, on one surface or both surfaces of a collector; a negative electrode that has a negative electrode mixture layer, which contains a negative electrode active material and a binder, on one surface or both surfaces of a collector; a separator; and a nonaqueous electrolyte solution that contains a lithium salt and an organic solvent. This nonaqueous secondary battery is also characterized in that the positive electrode mixture layer contains an olivine-type compound as the positive electrode active material, while containing, as the binder, a polymer (A) that has a unit represented by general formula (1) in each molecule. (In general formula (1), R1 represents H or a methyl group; and R2 represents an alkyl group having 1-18 carbon atoms.)
