Provided are a long-effective amide local anesthetic: S-(-)-1-propyl-2',6'-aminoxyleneformylpiperidine crystal, a sustained release preparation thereof, and their preparation method. Compared with an existing hydrochloride preparation, the preparation made from the crystal has a particularly good property of continuously and slowly releasing drug and maintaining an effective blood drug concentration, and shows an excellent long-term local analgesic effect.
