<p>PURPOSE: To enhance the effectiveness in installation works by simply disassembling a piston unit in which a piston is covered with a retainer, performing replacement and maintenance of component unit in the retainer simply, and consolidating a return spring in a liquid pressure chamber with the piston unit. CONSTITUTION: A retainer detaining hole 5f is provided in a piston 5 circumferentially, and a plurality of resilient pawls 15c are formed on the cylindrical part 15a of a retainer 15. Each pawl 15c is equipped with a piston detaining part 15e recessed in V-shape, a spring detention part 15f protruding in V-shape, and a spring receptacle 15g which projects out of the spring detention part 15f. The piston detaining part 15e is engaged by the hole 5f so that the retainer 15 is mounted on the piston. One end 16a of a return spring 16 is pinched between the spring detention part 15f and spring receptacle 15g, and the return spring 16 is installed on the retainer 15.</p> |
