<p>PURPOSE: To perform the writing and erasure of data even to a sheet like reversible recording material by expanding the adaptation range of a conventional serial thermal printer. CONSTITUTION: When the data written in a reversible recording material is erased, the thermal head 6 attached to a ribbon cassette placing stand 1 for attaching a ribbon cassette 2 through a head support member is entirely heated by the head heater 15 fixed to the rear surface of a head support member and a platen heater 17 is provided to a platen metal fitting 10 to which platen rubber 11 is attached and, when the data of the recording material is erased, the platen rubber 11 is also heated by the heater 17 and the recording material is heated from both surfaces thereof.</p> |
