<p>PURPOSE: To appropriately regulate the angle of a rear steering wheel even though solenoids are out of order, by providing a pair of stopper member which can freely go in and out from regulating grooves, setting a small steering angle mode under such a neutral condition that both stopper members are positioned in the regulating grooves, and setting a large steering angle mode under such a condition that the stopper members are evacuated from the regulating grooves. CONSTITUTION: In a controller when a steering is rotatively operated, if the steering angle of a steering wheel is small, a switch mechanism incorporated with a cam plate is in its OFF state, and solenoids 14, 15 are in the unexcited states. Therefore, stopper pins 12, 13 are under such a neutral condition that they are positioned in regulating grooves 8, 9, and when a supporting rod 2 is moved in an arrow direction 20, a stroke is regulated so that in-phase and small steering angel modes are set. While, when the steering angle is large and, for example, a right side switch mechanism is switched ON, the solenoid 14 is energized, the stopper pin 12 is evacuated from the regulating groove 8 and next, an electric motor 7 is operated, so that a rear wheel is rotatively steered in antiphase and large steering angle modes.</p> |
