A first dielectric layer (11A) includes a first recess portion (113A) which is recessed from an end face of the first dielectric layer (11A) to a position overlapping, in a Z-axis direction, a second electrode end portion (133B) of a second inner electrode layer (13B) which is adjacent in the Z-axis direction. A second dielectric layer (11B) includes a second recess portion (113B) which is recessed from an end face of the second dielectric layer (11B) to a position overlapping, in the Z-axis direction, a first electrode end portion (133A) of a first inner electrode layer (13A) which is adjacent in the Z-axis direction. A protruding portion (152) of a first external electrode (15A) is disposed on the inside of the second recess portion (113B), and is in contact with a surface on the opposite side from the side of the first dielectric layer (11A) of the first inner electrode layer (13A).
