<p>PURPOSE: To enable to improve sliding mobility of a bracket along an arch wire bound to the bracket, whereby a liner composed of a material having a Knoop hardness than lower that of the ceramic main body, is soldered to the ceramic main body. CONSTITUTION: A ceramic bracket 20 for orthodontic use is built up with a ceramic main body having a long channel 24, applied into said channel 24, and the bracket contains a liner 26 having an arch wire slot 43, the liner 26 of which is made of a material having a Knoop hardness lower than that of the ceramic entity and is being soldered to said ceramic entity. Bracket 22 entity has a base 28 posessing a multiplex outline to function the bracket 20 direct on the teeth of a patient, a set of an oppositely faced wall section 36 is located between the lip side face of the main body 22 and the channel 24 resulting that insertion of the arch wire into the liner 26 is being promoted.</p> |
