As an input device which is not only capable of detecting both a position and a load, but is also thin and capable of exhibiting improved waterproof and dustproof performance, provided is an input device equipped with: a position detection unit which is disposed on a substrate and which has multiple detection electrodes; and load detection wires , the electrical resistance of which change when pressure is applied thereto, which are disposed between the multiple detection electrodes of the position detection unit. Such a device may be configured such that the multiple detection electrodes have first electrodes and second electrodes which extend in intersecting directions with each other, the first electrodes have bridge-wiring parts disposed at positions where the first electrodes and the second electrodes intersect with each other, and the load detection wires are disposed so as to intersect with the bridge-wiring parts. |
