Provided are a building structure (1) and a relocation method for kitchen equipment (10) that can easily relocate the kitchen equipment (10) comprising a sink (11) to another location. The building structure (1) comprises: a kitchen equipment (10) comprising a sink (11); a floor (6) partitioning an above-floor space (1a) in which the kitchen equipment (10) is installed and an underfloor space (1b) in which horizontal drain piping (15a, 15b) is installed; and a first inspection port (6a) and a second inspection port (6b) that are provided in the floor (6) so that the same can be opened and closed and that expose the horizontal drain piping (15a, 15b) when opened. The building structure is configured such that internal drain piping (11a) for the sink (11) is detached from the horizontal drain piping (15b) exposed from the second inspection port (6b), the first inspection port (6a) is opened, the kitchen equipment (11) is moved, and the internal drain piping (11a) of the sink (11) can be connected to the horizontal drain piping (15b) exposed from the first inspection port (6a). |
