An eNB 200 performs MIMO transmission using multiple antenna ports (AP) 7 through 14 that support transmission of a UE-specific RS. The antenna ports 7 through 14 include multiple primary antenna ports 7 and 8 which each support single-layer transmission, and multiple auxiliary antenna ports 9 through 14 which, in combination with the multiple primary antenna ports 7 and 8, are for expanding the number of transmission layers for each UE 100. The eNB 200 uses a prescribed auxiliary antenna port to perform single layer transmission without combination of the multiple primary antenna ports 7 and 8 and prescribed auxiliary antenna ports of the multiple auxiliary antenna ports 9 through 14. |
