A code submitting method and device. The method comprises: acquiring an incremental code to be submitted to a code repository (101); checking the incremental code to be submitted (102); and submitting the incremental code to be submitted passing the check into the code repository (103). Checking codes before submission can ensure the accuracy of the submitted codes and identify problems in an early stage, and other procedures or processes requiring to use the submitted codes would not be affected.
