PURPOSE:To permit a photographer to know accurate field depth by obtaining the field depth by using an arithmetic processing unit from the calculated diaphragm value and the detected photographing distance and displaying the field depth on a display part. CONSTITUTION:The field depth, which is a range that allows the photographer to obtain a clear image when an object is focused by a photographing lens 1, is decided by focal distance, the diaphragm value and the photographing distance. The diaphragm value detected by a diaphragm detecting device 2 and the focal distance value detected by a focal distance detecting device 3 are inputted to a diaphragm value calculating device 4 for the calculation and the accurate diaphragm value corresponding to the change of the focal distance is obtained. Then, the accurate diaphragm value, which is the calculated value by the diaphragm value calculating device 4, and the photographing distance value detected by a photographing distance detecting device 5 are inputted to the arithmetic processing unit 6, the accurate field depth is obtained and the field depth is displayed on the display part 7. Thus, the photographer is permitted to know the field depth and a camera is made convenient. |
