PURPOSE:To effectively prevent a shutter from falling from a case even when it is deformed during the use thereof by engaging the claw shape guide part of the shutter with a guide groove disposed in the case. CONSTITUTION:The cassette case 2 for storing a magnetic disk is constituted of upper and lower halves 2a, 2b and the guide groove 22 is formed on a side surface on which the shutter 21 slides. The shutter 21 is constituted of upper and lower surface parts 21a, 21b and the guide part 23 of a claw shape protrusion is disposed in the vicinity of a connecting part thereof. This guide part 23 is engaged with the groove 22. Consequently, during the use, even when the shutter is deformed, the engagement of the guide groove 22 and the guide part 23 is not easily released but the shutter 21 is effectively prevented from falling from the case 2.
