PURPOSE:To stick a semiconductor laser mount to a predetermined position accurately without shifting from the adjusted position after the position of the mount is adjusted on a supporting stand by a method wherein one of the mount or the supporting stand is made of magnet and the other is made of ferromagnetic material. CONSTITUTION:A mount 1 and a supporting stand 3, one of which is made of magnet and the other is made of ferromagnetic material, attract each other. The mount 1, which is subjected to position adjustment and positioned on the supporting stand 3, is kept on the predetermined position by the attraction force so that such inconvenience as the mount 1 shifts from the predetermined position before it is stuck to the supporting stand 3 is avoided. Moreover, as the mount 1 does not fall off the supporting stand 3 owing to the attraction force between the supporting stand 3 and itself while its position is being adjusted, a pressing member which presses the mount 1 continually against the supporting stand 3 is eliminated.
